Men - Gramicci
Gramicci owner Mike Graham had been climbing in Yosemite through the 70s and it was in this period that he, along with a few other climbers, ascended the Half Dome climb in Yosemite, inanely giving themselves Italian names; Graham became Gramicci and it stuck.
So, when Mike Graham put together the first specifically designed climbing pant in 1982, it made sense for the brand to go by his moniker, Gramicci. Paying close attention to the kinetics of a climber’s body to create the best possible product, whilst also introducing a host of industry innovations, namely the reinforced gusseted crotch and built-in nylon belt of their climbing pants and shorts. These considerations make Gramicci seriously practical clothing for all outdoor pursuits.
